The theory of BioEnergetics addresses the relationship between the level of body organs' performance and the state of balance—or lack of balance—in the body. Various health problems can be caused by dysfunction due to lack of balance. The theory is based on the discovery of the German doctor Reinhold Voll in the 1950s and the comprehensive studies that followed this discovery.
Based on the theory of BioEnergetics, changes that occur in the body can be found at any given moment by electromagnetic measurement on the skin, of points along the meridians (energy lines) in the body. As those meridians are related to various parts of the body, conclusions can be drawn from the measurements as to which body part indicates a lack of balance. The result is a treatment program designed to solve a physical problem or relieve a symptom.
Researchers have discovered that the impact of various substances on the body can be measured through BioEnergetics testing. Among other things, the testing indicates sensitivity to certain substances which might cause an allergic reaction. BioEnergetics measurement can also reveal that exposure to some substances can cause a lack of balance in the body. Alternatively, it can be found that a different substance could be the solution to a health problem.
The theory of BioEnergetics is the scientific basis for several measurement technologies, including the Computerized Electro-Dermal Screening or CEDS.
